About the artwork

In the centre of an old, abandoned factory building stands a grand piano that radiates a majestic presence despite its decay. The sun's rays penetrate through the broken skylights, bathing the instrument in a soft, bright light that emphasises the faded elegance of the wood. Around the grand piano, the space is filled with a sense of loneliness and oblivion; the plaster on the walls is crumbling away, revealing the grey bricks beneath, while the steel beams above the grand piano are covered in rust, revealing the marks of time. The contrast between the former splendour of the piano and the progressive decay of the surroundings tells a story of lost creativity and past life. Here, in this melancholy setting, the music of the past still seems to linger, as if waiting to be explored once more.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
