I took this photo on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk. Beekhuizerzand is a characteristic Veluwe sand drift. The tree in the photo is a Scots pine that is unfortunately already dead and stands near the viewpoint on the sand drift. You can still see that this tree is standing on a dune. I chose this tree because of the shapes of its branches/trunks. To make this photo, I took 5 photos with different exposures that I merged in post-processing, it is a real HRD photo. I converted this HDR photo to black and white in post-processing. If you look closely, you can see it was an overcast day when I took the 5 photos this HDR photo, you can still see some structure in the sky.
