Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘A coarse pine in black and white’ by Gerard de Zwaan

I took this black-and-white photo in the De Haere nature reserve near Doornspijk in the Veluwe. I was standing on the sand drift in the nature reserve right next to the A28 motorway. I chose this pine because of the shape of the tree and especially the trunk. To make this photo, I took 5 photos with different exposures and afterwards…

My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own and is now as a spare camera, currently I use a Nikon D7200.
