About ‘50 shades of green’ by Marco Rutten

Like so many, after a strenuous journey in mainland Tanzania, in this case with a climb of Kilimanjaro and safari's in the Serengeti, it is good to rest on Zanzibar island. We were at the quiet southeastern part of the island, where hardly any other tourists were present, with the view from our beachfront bungalow on the fantastic turquoise colours of the sea. In the morning at low tide, several motley women came onto the beach, updating their seaweed gardens. And this is where the rented telephoto lens from the safari came in handy for a while!
