About "50 shades of blue"

About the artwork

The skies in Iceland are unprecedentedly beautiful. Often soft and very changeable. One moment you have blue sky, and the next clouds suddenly reappear. The wind turns abruptly and increases in strength, often feeling icy cold. We did not go out, in the middle of summer, without a mackintosh, hat and gloves. The different layers of clouds in all shapes, the soft shapes. it looks cuddly. It was so unprecedentedly beautiful, the images evoke a sense of nostalgia in me. The land, the lava ridges, the various types of lava, the colourful bright green moss, incredibly awesome. But the cloud cover beats everything. In the distance above the water, you can also see the numerous rain showers falling. You shouldn't go to Iceland for the nice weather, but for the unprecedentedly beautiful diversity of landscapes and skies. Despite the cool blue hushed tones, this photo gives me a warm feeling.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
