About Burnie1100 ART Specifiek, Uitzonderlijk, Ondefinieerbaar
My journey into digital art began with experimentation. Using a simple drawing programme, I worked with mathematical shapes and freehand lines. What started as curiosity grew into my own unique way of constructing and seeing.
By working with various digital tools, a layered process of editing, disrupting and rebuilding developed. My works emerge intuitively, layer by layer, until the image is in balance.
The urban layering in my work is partly fuelled by my living environment in Almere — a city in motion.
My years as a foster parent have deepened my perspective. Driven by this commitment, I choose to donate the proceeds from my work to children in vulnerable situations.
For me, digital art is a fully-fledged art form in which human attention takes centre stage.
