Vintage Theatre
A collection of nostalgic artworks inspired by my musical series “Lieder vergang’ner Pfade” (“Music of Forgotten Paths”). The images evoke the atmosphere of late-1920s Europe – old theatres, dimly lit stages and a world suspended somewhere between music, memory and stories from another time. Violins, gramophones, vintage microphones, masks and other remnants of the era are intertwined with deep red velvet, roses and warm golden details. Recurring symbols quietly connect the individual pieces, while allowing each artwork to tell a story of its own. The collection explores love and loss, courage and freedom, longing and farewell – melodies that may fall silent while their memory remains. Each artwork can stand on its own, yet together they form one visual world: like forgotten treasures discovered in an old theatre long after the final curtain fell.
