Sagrada Familia in Barcelona
A special basilica in Barcelona designed by Antonio Gaudi. Construction began in 1882 and is still unfinished. The interior of the church is nothing like what you are used to seeing in churches. Beautiful floral ornaments decorate the ceiling and vaults. The basilica is built in such a way that the incoming sunlight creates a true color explosion. I've only walked around here in amazement with my head held high! We were lucky that the sun shone in beautifully, first to my left and then to the right.
