Near Vik in Sweden lies that country's longest wooden bridge. Just after a heavy downpour, I walked around a little looking for interesting subjects to photograph. Just below the bridge, a single yellow plump was growing. The leaves still full of raindrops. Because the sky was still very dark, there was little disturbing reflection in the surface of the water. This created a fine contrast between the green leaves and the "dark" water. Using a telephoto lens, I was able to frame the water plant from above in a nice, tight angle. So although it was actually dreary weather, I think the photo still comes across as warm because of the brown hue of the "water". If you look closely, you can see the stones at the bottom through the clear water.
