De Steendert is a polder mill that used to stand on the A15 motorway near Geldermalsen. The construction of the Betuwelijn took the wind out of her sails.
She was carefully relocated to the outskirts of Ophemert.

My roots are in beautiful Twente. After changing jobs I now live with children and grandchildren in the Rivierengebied ( Tiel , the Betuwe ) Beautiful area for photography. I used to do a lot of photography. Since 2016 more seriously engaged in this hobby. Started with a Nikon 5200 / 50 mm.
This was after a fall total-loss.
Switched to d 5300 with 18-100 mm lens.
The 50 mm from the old camera can still be used with a reversing ring and is then fine for super-macro.
