About the artwork

In the early hours of May, when the world was still shrouded in soft darkness and the day was quietly awakening, I ventured to the shores of Lake Forggensee. A silent witness to beauty, the lake rested beneath a delicate veil of ground mist that lovingly veiled the contours of the Ammergau Alps opposite. A silent dance between light and shadow unfolded as the rising sun scattered its golden rays across the horizon.
The Säuling rises majestically on the horizon, its snow-covered peak gleaming in the soft morning light. At a height of 2047 metres, it towers up and seems to touch the sky. The Säuling, a truly sublime sight that crowned the morning atmosphere at Forggensee.
The silence was broken only by the gentle sounds of nature - the soft lapping of the water, the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves in the gentle morning breeze. It was a moment of tranquillity and pause, captured in a single photograph.
The picture tells the story of a magical morning mood in which nature awakens in all its splendour. A silent tribute to the beauty of the Ammergau Alps, to the majestic Säuling and to the magical atmosphere on the shores of Lake Forggensee in May.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
