A speckled yellow (Pseudopanthera macularia) met me in spring at the edge of the forest. The small moth settled again and again on my pants and the camera.
When he finally climbed onto my finger I was able to photograph this beautiful creature suitably for my series.
In the Blackground series, I completely block out the natural background by using macro flashes.
This allows the viewer's eye to focus entirely on the details of the small natural wonders depicted.
All pictures are taken in the wild without harming flora or fauna.
