About the artwork

In picturesque Reitdiephaven, known for its colourful houses and lively atmosphere, an extraordinary scene is taking place. A woman, elegantly dressed in a turquoise dress and wearing a chic black hat, sits on the quay with a giant paintbrush in her hand. The brush, drenched in bright orange paint, contrasts beautifully with her stylish outfit and the surrounding architecture.

In front of her is a grey cottage, waiting for a new, vibrant hue. The woman seems determined to transform this cottage, to give it a colour as vibrant as the rest of the harbour.

Her presence adds a touch of creativity and artistry to the serene setting, where the water gently laps and the boats rock gently on the waves. The coloured houses stand out against the grey sky, so there is still a lot of cheer in the picture.

This image captures not only the aesthetics of the harbour, but also the dynamic process of creation and renewal. It reminds us how a single individual with a vision can make a significant impact, simply by adding colour and life to the world around us. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
