About the artwork

Owls have a round, flattened face with large forward-facing eyes fixed in the skull. In order to be able to look in different directions, an owl must always turn its head, which they do very well. The large eyes make it possible to see well even in the dark. Owls have a hook beak and powerful claws on their legs, which are often densely feathered. On the front edge of the hand pegs of the wing, owls wear a downy fringe, which makes the wing particularly silent in flight. This allows them to look for prey animals, such as mice, almost unnoticed and to catch them by surprise.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
