It is the capital of the Veneto region and the province of Venice. The city is an important tourist destination.

Venice is known worldwide for its historic center with its many canals. For centuries, the city was the gateway of Western Europe to the Silk Road and played an important role in European history. Venice brought to Europe innovations such as foreign exchange and credit banks, accounting, bond markets and major improvements in shipbuilding. From Asia and Egypt techniques around sugar cane, silk, glassblowing and jewellery were introduced. Since 1987 Venice and its lagoon have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
