kitchenware
This abstract painting shows different types of cutlery in shades of brown and grey. The spoons are shown extra large ( for good scooping ;-) The background has a cream/sand colour, with soft brown strips. With these earthy tones, the painting fits in almost any kitchen or dining room.
The piece was inspired by a Senne in a thrift shop, where they had attached several crazy spoons and forks to a wooden plate to indicate that that was where the order could be found.
The shapes and warm colours give a calm but mostly cosy atmosphere. It could easily hang in a lunchroom or eatery too.
What is special about this painting is that it is neat and messy at the same time. Simplicity and stains. Exactly as it should be in a kitchen.
