This picture was taken in Saint Claude France. When we walked past these doors on the way there, I already really liked them but it didn't appeal to me enough yet. Later on our way back, we sat down on a terrace (coincidentally opposite the doors) and an elderly lady approached and opened the doors and fortunately did not close them immediately. It gave me just enough time to take this photo from our café table. No car, cyclist or pedestrians fortunately disturbed my image at this brief moment and the foreground with the plants is great. The colour of the doors, the peephole that just makes you more curious about what is going on behind them and of course the beautiful authentic number plate for me this photo is good because of its simplicity. I chose this colour scheme because I think the photo is now at its most powerful.
