In a big sequoia tree in Yosemite National Park in California, these four ground squirrels curiously came out of their holes to look at all those tourists walking around them admiring the trees. They did not come further down but stayed in their safe hiding place high up in the tree. They were so cute to see with their brown and white striped coats. Even though they are a common rodent there, I couldn't resist capturing them. I always find it special to capture an animal, especially one that lives in the wild. Surely these Nibble and Dale squared deserve a place in, say, a child's room?
