About the artwork

Badlands National Park is a national park in southwestern South Dakota in the United States that has existed since 1978. The park covers an area of 982 km² with canyons, gorges and hoodoos interspersed with large areas of prairie.
The Badlands were created by water and wind erosion of layers of sediment. The Badlands are a dry area with infrequent but very heavy rainfall, little vegetation and soft rock. As a result, the slopes are steep, with loose, dry earth, smooth clay and deep sand.
From 11,000 years ago, the Badlands have been inhabited by several Indian tribes. The first tribes lived in sheltered valleys where sufficient water and wildlife were available all year round. Today, the remains of their campfires, arrows and other tools are found due to erosion.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
