The Yellow Heliconia is a greenish-yellow flower with black spots and red bracts reminiscent of the bright plumage of parrots and the only genus in the mono typical family Heliconiaceae, found mainly in native tropical American forests. Common names for the genus refer to their close resemblance to bird of paradise flowers, these herbaceous plants vary the species of plants and are simply called "heliconia".
Most species are listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as vulnerable or data deficient. The fruits are blue-purple when ripe and are mainly dispersed by birds. Several species are widely cultivated as ornamental plants, a few have been naturalised and this yellow through my creative art insights, static vivid and colourful as a work of art with the Mixed medium coastal technique presented to the world, and is made up of mainly acrylic paint, papier-mâché (recycled paper) on canvas and hard carton with inner wooden panel frame, dimensions height 50 cm x width 38 cm x thickness 2.0 cm.
The many beautiful art-like details and colour pattern, referring to my photorealistic, figurative feelings and love for Flora and fauna, where the simple leaves of these plants are characteristically long, elongated, alternate or grow opposite each other on non-woody petioles, often longer than the leaf, and often form large, at different positions on the plant they have different absorption potential and also look like lobster claws.
The quality of this self-designed art technique retains its value under all weather conditions.
