About the artwork

The painting shows a naked young woman standing motionless in front of a dark wall. Her pale skin forms a strong contrast to the background, making her seem almost to emerge from the darkness. Her body is rendered without decoration or adornment, pure and unadorned. On her head rests an arrangement of plants, largely consisting of grasses and herbs, which stick out in soft, tangled bundles and form a natural, almost wild silhouette.

Her gaze is empty, emotionless, as if she is completely oblivious to the presence of the beholder. No joy, sadness or astonishment speaks from her eyes-only a quiet, detached calm. The composition is austere, the colours muted, making the textures of skin, hair and plants all the more emphatic. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
