Woman at the lake in the sunset by AidasignArt

This panoramic, colour-intensive painting unfolds its effect in a slightly impasto application of paint that makes the light and atmosphere palpable. In the right-hand golden section, a young woman with dark hair sits sideways on a rock. Her white dress and pink sun hat form a luminous contrast to the surrounding nature. In quiet contemplation, she turns her gaze towards the sunset - a quiet moment between contemplation and inner reflection.

Around her are small, irregular rocks from which wild red flowers burst forth. A tree trunk next to her reinforces the feeling of originality and closeness to the earth. A wide, calm lake opens up in front of the figure, its reflective surface absorbing and doubling the entire scene. The warm light of the low sun gently covers the water, rocks and body, combining the foreground and background into a harmonious whole.

A dense fir forest rises up in the background, lending depth and tranquillity to the picture. On the left edge of the picture, the bright yellow sun is about to set, surrounded by intense orange and red tones that bathe the room in a warm glow. Above it, the sky glows in gentle transitions, while towards the right it opens up into light blue tones, interspersed with a few delicate clouds.

The work tells of stillness, transition and the timeless encounter between man and nature and is part of the series "The Woman in the Pink Sun Hat".
