Winter Mountains – The Joy of Reaching the Summit with a Deeper Meaning

by AidasignArt

Who actually says that large-scale landscape art always has to be on a rectangular canvas? This imaginative relief artwork offers a completely new perspective on the winter mountain landscape. Snow-capped peaks, rolling valleys, dark coniferous forests and a meandering river form a striking landscape whose layered structures are reminiscent of majestic mountain ranges and geological formations.

The cool colour palette of ice blue, ivory and deep slate grey is accentuated by delicate golden lines. The striking differences in elevation and three-dimensional contours create an almost sculptural landscape relief that reveals ever-changing details when viewed up close.

From the series ‘The Middle of Nowhere – In the Middle of Nowhere’ comes a work that combines its tongue-in-cheek title with artistic merit. For sometimes one simply has to view things from a different perspective – even when that perspective turns out to be decidedly unusual.

Whether as a standalone artwork or, together with the two complementary motifs, as a diptych or triptych, the composition unfolds its unique charm. Its wintry visual language makes it an original eye-catcher far beyond the Christmas season for anyone who appreciates extraordinary wall art and a touch of humour.
