John Duurkoop (1952) lived on the North Sea coast all his life. The sea, the dunes, the beach and the beautiful cloud formations are often a subject in his photographs. Beach life in all seasons is a source of inspiration for him. John Duurkoop started photographing seriously at the age of 18, inspired by his father, a not undeserving amateur photographer.
