About ‘White cosmos’ by Marije Elizabeth

Still life, made in my studio with daylight. These beautiful flowers (Cosmos) were given to me by a gardener friend who grew them herself. My very first floral art, a piece revealing my vision.
I bought the vase from a thrift shop, I am always looking for the most beautiful vintage ones to combine with my floral art.
It a beautiful large blue vase by Flamand.
The background has an olive colour, which makes the whole image less harsh and actually highlights the colour of the vase in contrast with the light flowers against a soft background.
The fragility of these flowers is reflected in the delicate processing on the vase, creating a nice mix of classic and vintage. The processing I applied makes you want to touch, want to feel the photo. It looks quaint and dreamy.
On a matte print in a large format, this photo looks at its best, the delicate flowers and twigs become clearly visible, they are really beautiful.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
