Where the Stars Celebrate Christmas by But First Framing

A festive Christmas tree fills almost the entire picture and stands out strikingly against a soft pink background. The tree is made up of separate, vibrant green shapes. Round decorations in blue, pink, orange, yellow and white hang amongst the branches. Large stars appear not only as decorations, but also as tiny points of light dancing through the tree. At the top, a large golden star shines, as if watching over the colourful scene.

The simple shapes and the visible movement in the paint give the work a free and playful feel. Everything feels cheerful, spontaneous and a little mischievous. The colours do not follow traditional Christmas conventions, giving the tree a fresh and modern feel. The soft pink surrounding it brings a sense of calm and allows the green and the bright decorations to stand out even more clearly. At the bottom, a blue area forms a calm base, whilst the blue trunk keeps the tree firmly centred.

This piece captures the warm feeling of Christmas without becoming heavy or solemn. It is about celebrating together, sharing light and making room for colour during the dark winter months. It is precisely the combination of simplicity, loose forms and exuberant decoration that makes this Christmas tree unique. It is a cheerful image that instantly energises whilst evoking a sense of familiar cosiness.
