About "Where are you rushing to when the horizon never approaches?"

About the artwork

One sign. One number. One direction. And otherwise? Emptiness. Sand. Sky. This image from the Skeleton Coast National Park is more than a scene - it's a metaphor for our relationship to time, speed and destination.

The 100 not only stands for kilometres per hour, but for the constant urge for more, faster, further. But where are we supposed to race to here? Into a landscape without bends, without a destination, without a petrol station? If you look closely, you will recognise that the road is not only unpaved, but also an invitation to slow down. Because in this vastness, speed loses its meaning - and space gains depth.

This motif is like a Zen koan in picture form. It fits perfectly in rooms that encourage reflection - a study, a meditative retreat or a living room with a sense of the absurd in everyday life. It is a picture that poses questions without providing answers. And perhaps that is precisely why it has a long-lasting effect.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
