Maritime Centre Abraham Fock in Hollum is literally built around the legendary horse rescue boat Abraham Fock.
It is launched into the sea from the beach near Hollum about twelve times a year during demonstrations: an impressive sight! The brave lifeboat horses are in the barn, which is also the museum's forge. Blacksmith Theo Faber has often provided these heroes with new irons in the past.
