Westland. A greenhouse in black and white.

Westland. A greenhouse in black and white.
I’ve gradually become known for regularly cycling through the Westland, always on the lookout for a scene, for something – something special or unusual – to photograph. I regularly share these ‘Westland snaps’, as I’ve come to call them, on Facebook. Whether it’s in a Westland group or on my own Facebook page, which, coincidentally, is called ‘Westlandse Plaatjes’… The photos I take are often wide shots, whilst details or unusual, or amusing situations also get the attention they deserve. I’ve chosen to convert this photo to black and white. The photo has taken on something mysterious, something quite special. The longer you look at it, the more striking and impressive the light of the midday sun on the greenhouse with its open ventilation windows becomes. The reed bed in the foreground and the beautiful white clouds complete the picture!
I’m very happy and pleased with this photo myself. I hope you, too, are moved by the special atmosphere. This could be a lovely addition to your home… on your wall.
I’d love it if you could send me a photo of the wall where this creation has been given its well-deserved place in your home… You can get in touch with me via the Nicolaas Digi Art website (just Google it). Click on the CONTACT tab and ask me a question or let me know what you think.
Best regards,
