Watercolour image of the Grote Kerk Veere with the chapel in the foreground. Founded in 1342, this church was dedicated to Lieve-Vrouw ter Sneeuw. From 1479 the building was renovated but after 1521 all building activities were stopped for economic reasons. As a result, the west tower was stuck at one segment.
