I took this photo in a former fish factory opposite Lisbon. Several dilapidated buildings there are scattered in a swamp area and lent themselves perfectly to "urban exploring". I tried to capture the feeling of wandering through old buildings in this photo. Each time, it is exciting what can be found behind the next passageway. The perspective draws the admirer into the building. The creator of the graffiti work in this picture has, consciously or unconsciously, chosen a colour scheme that blends into the context. The red matches the broken bricks, the yellow is reflected in the plaster and the white matches the sun rays penetrating the ruin. Looking for an image with earthy tones?
