About "Walking The Dog In Cortona"

About the artwork

This photo art image depicts an atmospheric Italian scene, looking down an alleyway in Cortona in Tuscany, Central Italy where an old stone archway connects the buildings. Looking through the archway we can see ornate window grills. At the end the alleyway, a man in an Italian jacket is walking his dog. Cortona was the setting for the feature film Under The Tuscan Sun and is incredibly charismatic.

The photo on which this is based was a hurried shot, I was literally walking past the alleyway and glanced down it to see the man emerging through the doorway. My eye took in the colour of his jacket against the dark doorway, the red lead on the dog and the architecture and I quickly took a photograph. I think it came out really well and captured that moment of surprise, a splash of color and all the nuances of light and shadow in the alleyway.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
