About the artwork

This picture was taken in Katwijk aan zee.

Sunset is the moment when the sun disappears behind the horizon.
The sun only sets completely at the moment when the entire solar disk is no longer visible.
The time between the moment when the sun has already set while it is not yet completely dark is called the evening twilight: dusk is therefore a transitional phase and sunset is a moment.
It takes 3 to 4 minutes from the moment that the first edge of the Sun disappears behind the horizon until it sets.
The Sun is visible longer than it actually is above the horizon, this is because the atmosphere has a vertical density gradient.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
