Vintage Travel Poster: London – Big Ben, Red Double-Decker Bus and the London Eye by Danny van Eldik

Experience the timeless elegance and vibrancy of the British capital with this atmospheric vintage travel poster of London. This graphic artwork is based on an original photograph and brings together the metropolis’s most iconic landmarks in a single harmonious image. In the foreground, the distinctive red double-decker bus winds its way through the bustling streets of Westminster, flanked by the stately Elizabeth Tower with the world-famous Big Ben and the Gothic architecture of the Palace of Westminster. In the background, the silhouette of the London Eye stands out beautifully against the clear, deep blue sky.

The composition combines classic retro typography with refined halftone screens and a warm colour palette of traditional British red, sandstone yellow and deep blue. This lends the print the nostalgic elegance of a historic travel poster from the early twentieth century.

The artwork makes a stylish and recognisable statement in any modern, industrial, classic or vintage interior, instantly bringing the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a city break to London into your living room, study or hallway. Available as high-quality wall art on materials including canvas, acrylic glass, sleek aluminium Dibond or framed as a poster.
