Back to the Färoer, at least as far as my pictures here are concerned.
At the northern tip of the island Streymoy is the village Tjørnuvík . From here there is the possibility to hike over a pass to Saksun. Shortly after leaving Tjørnuvík and having a few meters of altitude in your legs, you get this view if you turn around at the small waterfall.
The view reaches up to the two sea stacks Risin og Kellingin at the northern tip of the neighboring island Eysturoy.
For scale: both sea stacks are about 70 meters high. The cliff next to it has a height of 350 meters.
