About "Köhlbrandbrücken-Henge - Sunset in Hamburg"

About the artwork

The Köhlbrand Bridge is undoubtedly one of Hamburg's landmarks. Since its opening in 1974, it has offered cars and trucks the possibility to cross the 325 m wide Köhlbrand, a branch of the Elbe. The two towers have a height of 135 metres and are also visible from the surrounding area of Hamburg. In the middle, there is a clearance height of 53 metres, enabling ships to sail to the Container Terminal Altenwerder. From 2026, a tunnel is to be built through which the traffic will pass under the Köhlbrand. After its completion, the bridge will be demolished in 2034. At the end of April, you have the opportunity to photograph the sunset directly behind the Köhlbrand Bridge. If you catch the right moment, the sun will be exactly between the two bridge piers. One could then speak of Köhlbrand Bridge Henge.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
