The Venus of Milo (also Aphrodite of Melos), a sculpture of the goddess Aphrodite, is one of the most famous examples of Hellenistic art, along with the Laocoon group and the Nike of Samothrace. This beautiful sculpture are unfortunately after many centuries the arms have disappeared. So I tried to imagine how she looked complete. After many hours of work I created this digital painting. Of course, my Venus had to be set against the backdrop of a beautiful Greek landscape. The real credit goes to the unknown artist who created this beauty. The statue can be admired in the Louvre in Paris and I hope you like my version a little.
Since my childhood I paint and draw. Early on I was also interested in technology and history. Like many artists, I am very rarely satisfied with my works. One strives for perfection, tries to at least come close to it.
