About ‘Venice - Grand Canal’ by Thomas Bugdoll

Venice is world-famous as the "city of a thousand bridges". The Italian city was built on countless wooden piles, so that the various parts of the city are surrounded by water. Probably the most famous waterway in the metropolis is the Grand Canal, which winds its way through the area in an S-shape. Hundreds of boats bring people from one side to the other every day or serve as excursion boats for many tourists. The Grand Canal flows past pompous buildings and palaces from the Italian Renaissance and gives visitors a wonderful view of the city's architectural gems. The canal itself is only five metres deep and on average fifty metres wide. More than 45 canals flow into the Grand Canal, making it the hub of Venetian shipping.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
