Ven Blankeveen in Drenthe with morning mist during sunrise by KB Design & Photography (Karen Brouwer)

This enchanting image shows a fen in the Blankeveen in Drenthe on an early morning, shrouded in a mysterious mist. As the sun slowly rises over the forest edge, the soft patches of mist are illuminated by a golden glow. The still water reflects the warm tones of the sky, while tussocks of grass and reeds along the banks give the landscape a rugged, natural look. The combination of the dense vegetation, fog and soft light creates an almost picturesque scene.

Blankeveen pond is one of the many fens that characterise the Drenthe landscape and plays an important role in the rich nature of this area. Hidden among the woods. A beautiful piece of Drenthe. In this image, the unique atmosphere of the early morning comes into its own: the silence is broken only by the singing of birds and the rustling of the wind through the reeds. The mist adds a touch of mystery and emphasises the transition from night to day.

This picture invites us to contemplate the beauty of nature and the calmness of a new beginning. A powerful image that exudes peace, serenity and connection with the landscape - perfect as a decoration in the home or office.
