About "Valentine's World Map"

About the artwork

I got the idea for this card on Valentine's Day 2023. But of course I couldn't finish the card on that same day. After all, it was quite a job: putting the right colour on all 5700 hearts.

Then again, it is Valentine's Day next year again on 14 February. Besides, love (or should I say Love?) is not limited to one day in the year. Certainly not the love for our beautiful planet.

Viewed from a distance, the oceans and continents, deserts, jungles and ice caps, are still easily recognisable on this world map. But the closer you get, the more the image turns into a colourful pattern. With the heart symbolising the power that conquers all.

Incidentally, because of the relief effect I applied, some people see a large collection of candy hearts in it. And, of course, that is permitted as well.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
