About the artwork

Pictured here is the Domtoren (Dom Tower) in the ancient Dutch city of Utrecht. The coloured lights are to celebrate the recent finished restoration of the tower. This is the highest church tower in the Netherlands, originally measuring 109 meters, but, after a restoration in 1910 the new roof was 64° instead of the original 59-60°, bringing the total length to 112,32 meters.
In terms of design, the Dom Tower was possibly the largest church tower built in Europe up to 1382. Towers that were taller owed their height to their slender spire, like the Marienkirche in Lübeck, Germany (two towers of 125 m, 60 m to the spirer), Salisbury Cathedral, UK (fourth tower of 123 m, 67 m to the spire, and the Munster in Freiburg (western tower of 116 m, 70 m to the spire,
The Dom Tower of Utrecht is 95 m high to the spire and has a ground area of about 380 m².

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
