The French word bohemian was used for the gypsies in France who said they came from Bohemia. So bohemian in France became a name for gypsies, the Romas, which in English translated seam Bohemian. In French, the Bohemian meaning is 'non-bourgeois', so the word Bohemian means someone from an Eastern European region, or as an artistic person with an unconventional lifestyle. In addition, in the home furnishing world, you have the style Bohemian chic, often shortened to Boho-chic. This work fits well with that, but also in an interior with Ibiza and hippie influences.
