About the artwork

An office worker sits motionless behind his laptop. The world around him is bleak, trapped in a corridor of fluorescent light and grey walls. Only above his head does an explosion of colour erupt - a rainbow of creativity trying to break through the system ceiling. The contrast between black and white and bright hues symbolises the tension between conformity and imagination.

The inspiration for this work comes from modern office life, where creativity is often stifled by structure, processes and protocols. The artist asks a sharp question: what is left of man when his environment filters out all spontaneity? The colours that escape represent the inner strength that refuses to be tamed.

The atmosphere is at once sombre and hopeful - an indictment and an ode. The sober brushwork and monochrome base reinforce the feeling of emptiness, while the colourful eruption is a visual cry for freedom and authenticity.

In an interior, this painting acts as a mirror and statement: a reminder to allow colour, even in the greyest context. Ideal for workplaces or creative spaces where people want to escape the system.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
