This picture takes us to a magical place in the far north, where the Storforsen river seeks its secret path through wintry Lapland under a thick blanket of snow. The air is crystal clear, the sky almost seems to stand still, while the last warm colours of the setting sun are reflected in the snow.
The dark water winds through the landscape like a pulsating ribbon, framed by crystalline banks, as if nature itself had created a work of art from ice.
