About the artwork
This photo: "Twisted: Shells with their noses the other way" is a macro photo of two shells (and in the ground surface still partly a mirror image of one of these two shells).
This type of shell/snail shell is called: " Phoenicobius Aratus". It is a snail shell with a spiral shape on one side, emphasised by the dark brown line. A very distinctive shell that has a peaceful look due to the spiral and the warm natural brown tones. If you zoom in on this picture, you will see that the focus is on the beginning of the spirals. The further back and forward you look, the blurrier the image becomes. This gives a sense of depth to the photo, but also a sense of calm.
Because the background also has a brown tint, the entire surface is actually shrouded in shades of brown, giving a warm look.
This close-up of two shells could, for example, hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the dining room, kitchen or, of course, just above the sofa! (Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!)
