Turquoise sea water flows over light brown rocks. On the Mediterranean coast, I am particularly inspired by the gentle movement of the waves and the clear water that flows elegantly over the rocks.
The cove called Cala de la Granadella is considered one of the most beautiful coves on the northern Costa Blanca in Spain. I like hiking through the nature park and down to the beach to look at the sea water there. Depending on the weather conditions, the water surface appears in shades of turquoise and blue-green. Flowing water meets reflections of sunlight and the rocky seabed. This creates abstract effects and patterns.
I like to experiment with symmetry based on detail shots. To further emphasize the abstraction, I combine the natural reflection with its mirroring in one image.
I like to include both the meditative effect of the flowing water and the structures of the water surface in my photo collages. In my opinion, the timeless beauty of nature is often revealed in the details and in symmetrical compositions that represent harmony and balance.
On the Mediterranean coast, I often get the impression that the clocks are ticking a little slower. In this sense, the turquoise water surface is destined to bring some of the charm of the Costa Blanca into your four walls. A summer dream of the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
