The Spitfire Mk3 (formerly known as the "student convertible") was a roadster from the British car manufacturer Triumph, which was produced in various versions from 1962-1980. The model above is the Mk3 and was produced from 1967-1970. The last model was the Spitfire 1500, but it was awarded the "Silver Lemon" by the ADAC (German Automobile Club) because of too many quality defects. This handbag roadster was just around 750 kg with engines that went from 44-54 kW. The Spitfire Mk3 as seen above had 75 hp (54 kW). But the consumption for the low weight of the little roadster was enormous, 8-10 litres of super.
