In the Lommatzscher Pflege, an old cultivated landscape in Saxony, also known as the "Granary of Saxony" or the "Tuscany of Saxony", the field boundaries were often marked with rows of trees. This picture shows such an old field boundary.
What I find fascinating about this photo is how the enormous height of the trees stands out against the individual people.
I was already taking photographs as a student and won prizes in international photography competitions. Now I have specialised in the photography of cultural landscapes. Human interventions in nature are my favourite motifs, which result in quite respectable pictures with a long-term effect and decorative character.
