Universal connectedness: the tree of life represents the interconnectedness of everything in the universe. It symbolises togetherness and reminds you that you are never alone, but connected to the world.
Spirituality: The tree is connected both to the earth and to the universe, just like humans. Roots, trunk, branches - Body, mind and spirit. A nice balance between body and spirit ensures that you have a firm and warm connection to the earth, but at the same time accept and embrace your connection to the whole universe.
Ancestors: family and fertility: the tree of life also symbolises the connection with family and ancestors. The "Tree of life" has an intricate network of branches depicting how a family expands over many generations. It also symbolises fertility, as it always finds a way to keep growing, through seeds or new saplings that are lush and green, indicating vitality.
Growth and strength: a tree is a universal symbol of strength and growth. They spread their roots deep into the earth and stabilise themselves. Trees can weather the toughest storms, which is why they are such a prominent symbol of strength. The Tree of Life represents growth. A tree begins as a small, delicate sapling and over a long period of time grows into a giant, strong tree. The tree's roots spread and anchor into the earth, feeding off the energy of Mother Earth, and its branches reach up into the sky and feed off the energy of the sun and moon. So both feet on the floor and an open mind are very important for your personal growth.
The tree grows upwards and outwards, indicating how a person grows stronger and expands their knowledge and experiences throughout their life.
