The oil painting "Metamorphosis", measuring 80 cm by 100 cm, reveals a fascinating landscape that at first glance appears to be of a barren character. However, the dominant browns and idiosyncratic purples are surrounded by vibrant reds, turquoises and oranges. These colours add a touch of life and vitality to the scenery.

The landscape presents itself in different levels. Bright, fertile green sections, overgrown with trees, extend into the depths of the picture. In the distance, a lake or a light strip of fog can be seen, bordering the scene on the right. Majestic mountains rise as if to embrace or at least gently frame the landscape.

The sky above this landscape is a breathtaking spectacle. It seems to be a battlefield of different colours and cloud formations. Trails of clouds swirl and spin in an almost whirlpool-like pattern, some of them seeming to go into a slow left turn. Despite their diversity, the cloud walls appear soft, permeable and dynamic.

The painting owes its outstanding depth of colour and brilliance to the artist's special technique. A bright tunnel of light in the centre of the "vortex" leads the viewer into another dimension, like a door opened in a crack.
